The Auburn Tigers have added the Alabama A&M Bulldogs to their 2020 football schedule, according to a report by AL.com.
Auburn will host Alabama A&M at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Nov. 21, 2020. The Tigers will pay the Bulldogs a $525,000 guarantee, according to a copy of the contract.
Auburn and Alabama A&M are already slated to meet this season on Nov. 19. Both the 2016 and 2020 meeting are set for the weekend before Auburn’s “Iron Bowl” game vs. Alabama.
In their first and only meeting in 2012, the Tigers rolled to a 51-7 victory at home over the Bulldogs.
Alabama A&M is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). In 2015, the Bulldogs finished 3-8 overall and 3-6 in SWAC play.
Auburn now has an FCS opponent scheduled for every season through 2021 with the exception of 2019. Future teams on the schedule include Alabama A&M (2016, 2020), Mercer (2017), and Alabama State (2018, 2021).
The Tigers have one other non-conference game announced for the 2020 season, which is a visit from Southern Miss on Sept. 26.
In SEC play in 2020, Auburn is scheduled to host Arkansas, LSU, Texas A&M, and Kentucky and travel to Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss.
