The Arkansas Razorbacks have added the Kent State Golden Flashes to their 2020 football schedule, the school announced on Friday.
Arkansas will host Kent State at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville on Sept. 5, 2020. The game will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
The Razorbacks have played four contests against current members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and are 3-1 in those games. The Hogs are 2-0 vs. Northern Illinois, 1-0 vs. Eastern Michigan, and 0-1 vs. Toledo.
On Thursday, Arkansas announced a home-and-home football series with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for the 2020 and 2025 seasons. Arkansas will travel to Notre Dame on Sept. 12, 2020 and will host the Irish on Oct. 4, 2025.
Arkansas now needs two more non-conference games to complete their 2020 schedule.
In SEC action in 2020, Arkansas is scheduled to host Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, and Tennessee and travel to Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas A&M (at Arlington, Texas), and Missouri.
