The Alabama State Hornets have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which includes five contests at home.
Alabama State will open the fall 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 at home at ASU Stadium in Montgomery, Ala., against the Miles Golden Bears in the Labor Day Classic.
The Hornets then travel to take on the Auburn Tigers on Sept. 11 before their first open date of the season on Sept. 18. The following week on Sept. 25, Alabama State hosts their Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) opener against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, which is the first of eight consecutive SWAC contests.
Alabama State then plays at the Florida A&M Rattlers on Oct. 2 before returning to Montgomery to host the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions on Oct. 9 for Homecoming.
Next, Alabama State travels for four consecutive games away from home over the span of five weeks: at Jackson State (Oct. 16), vs. Alabama A&M (Oct. 30; at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala.), at Prairie View A&M (Nov. 6), and at Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 13).
The Hornets close out the fall 2021 season with back-to-back games at ASU Stadium. Alabama State is slated to host the Texas Southern Tigers on Nov. 20 and then, five days later, the Tuskegee Golden Tigers in the Turkey Day Classic on Thursday, Nov. 25.

Alabama State kicked off their spring 2021 season on Friday, Feb. 26 with a 24-21 loss at home against Southern. The Hornets are slated to resume spring action on Saturday, March 20 at home against Jackson State.
