The Air Force Falcons and the Iowa State Cyclones have canceled their previously scheduled 2013-2014 home-and-home football series, the Colorado Springs Gazette has reported.
The series was canceled due to the Big 12 Conference expanding to a nine-game conference schedule starting with the 2011 football season.
The games were scheduled for September 17, 2013 at Air Force and September 6, 2014 at Iowa State. No replacement teams have been announced for either school yet.
Iowa State has also canceled future games against Kent State (2016, 2017 & 2019), Western Kentucky (2012) and San Jose State (2015).
