The 2021 ACC football schedule will be announced on Thursday, Jan. 28, the conference has announced.
The schedule reveal for the ACC falls in line with their usual January announcements in the past few years. However, the schedule release is a week or two later than usual, likely due to the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Like the SEC, the ACC will also return to their normal eight-game conference schedule with four non-conference contests. Boston College is the only ACC school that does not have all four of their non-conference games known.
Opening weekend of the 2021 ACC football schedule features three neutral-site games — Clemson vs. Georgia (in Charlotte, N.C.), Miami FL vs. Alabama (in Atlanta, Ga.), and Louisville vs. Ole Miss (in Atlanta, Ga.; Labor Day).
Other good matchups to open the season include USF at NC State on Thursday, Sept. 2 and Notre Dame at Florida State on Sunday, Sept. 5.
The 2021 ACC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
