The College Football National Championship sites for 2021 through 2024 were officially announced on Wednesday by the playoff organizers.

“When we created the playoff, we said we wanted to move the national championship game around,” said Bill Hancock, Executive Director of the College Football Playoff. “We have done that. We call it ‘ten in ten’—ten different communities will have hosted the national championship game in the first ten years of the playoff. The CFP National Championship is one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and we’re proud to bring the game to fans in different regions of the country.”

Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida will host the College Football National Championship on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. The venue currently seats 64,767 and has hosted five Super Bowl games.

The 2022 College Football National Championship will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022. Lucas Oil, which hosted Super Bowl XLVI, has a seating capacity of 62,421 and is expandable to 70,000.

The new Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California will host the National Championship on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023. The stadium, planned to open in 2020, will have a seating capacity of 70,240 and will be expandable to 100,000.

On Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, the National Championship Game will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. NRG Stadium, which hosted Super Bowl LI earlier this year, seats 71,795.

“Each of the four cities chosen met or exceeded our standards for selection,” Hancock said. “Each has a first-class stadium that our fans will enjoy, a great convention center, excellent hotels for teams and fans, and the communities have successful track records of hosting major events. Each city also has wonderful, supportive people who we rely on to host a successful game.”

This season’s National Championship is set for Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Next year, semifinal winners will meet at on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
