The 2016 season gets underway for the Mountain West on Friday, Aug. 26 when Hawaii takes on California in Sydney, Australia. The first conference matchup is slated for Saturday, Sept. 24 and it features Utah State hosting Air Force.
The 2016 Mountain West Conference Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the the home stadium of the highest rated division winner in the CFP rankings.
