2015 Big Ten Football Schedule Announced

The 2015 Big Ten Football Schedule was officially announced today. Conference play begins on September 19, 2015 when Rutgers travels to Penn State.

In 2014 and 2015, each team will play every other team within its division plus two teams from the opposite division. Then in 2016 when the nine-game schedule begins, each team will play every other team within its division plus three teams from the opposite division. The only cross-division protected rivalry will be Indiana-Purdue.

Featured non-conference games in 2015 include Pittsburgh at Iowa, Maryland at West Virginia, Oregon at Michigan State, BYU at Michigan, TCU at Minnesota, Nebraska at Miami (FL), Stanford at Northwestern, Ohio State at Virginia Tech, Penn State at Temple, Notre Dame at Purdue, Kansas at Rutgers, and Wisconsin vs. Alabama (at Cowboys Stadium).

The 2015 Big Ten Championship Game will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday, Dec. 5.
