2013 SEC Football TV Schedule – Week 1

The 2013 college football season begins on Thursday, Aug. 29, and one of the first games features an SEC team. The No. 6 South Carolina Gamecocks host the North Carolina Tar Heels at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.

But based on the preseason rankings, the biggest game involving an SEC team is Saturday night when the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs travel to face the No. 8 Clemson Tigers. The game will be televised by ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

A trio of SEC teams will open the 2013 season at neutral sites. Alabama takes on Virginia Tech in Atlanta, LSU faces TCU in Arlington, and Mississippi State meets Oklahoma State in Houston.

UL Lafayette at Arkansas – 4 p.m. ET, FSN/ESPN3*

Alabama vs. Virginia Tech (at Atlanta, GA) – 5:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Austin Peay at Tennessee – 6 p.m. ET, Pay-per-view/ESPN3*

Washington State at Auburn – 7 p.m. ET, ESPNU

Kentucky at Western Kentucky – 7 p.m. ET, ESPNews

Georgia at Clemson – 8 p.m. ET, ABC
