The 2012 Allstate Sugar Bowl game features the Michigan Wolverines against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
The game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 (8:30 p.m. ET – ESPN).
This will be the first ever meeting between Michigan of the Big Ten and Virginia Tech of the ACC.
Michigan finished the 2011 season 10-2 and ranked 13th in the BCS. Virginia Tech finished 11-2 and 11th in the BCS.
