2010 featured college football games – Week 3

Week three of the 2010 college football season features a couple of good non-conference games and some key conference contests. ESPN Gameday will broadcast live from Auburn, Alabama, the site of the Clemson-Auburn game.

  • Cincinnati at NC State – ESPN; 7:30 p.m. ET
    This will be the first ever game between these two schools.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

  • Arkansas (13) at Georgia – ESPN; 12:00 p.m. ET
    Georgia won in a shootout last year 52-41 in Fayetteville.
  • Maryland at West Virginia (21) – ESPNU; 12:00 p.m. ET
    The Mountaineers have won four in a row against the Terrapins.
  • Air Force at Oklahoma (9) – FSN; 3:30 p.m. ET
    The Sooners won the first meeting between these two schools 44-3 in 2001.
  • Alabama (1) at Duke – ABC/ESPN GP; 3:30 p.m. ET
    Duke had to install extra seating for this game against the No. 1 Crimson Tide.
  • Arizona State at Wisconsin (11) – ABC/ESPN2; 3:30 p.m. ET
    Wisconsin won both of the previous games against ASU in 1967 and 1968.
  • BYU at Florida State – ESPNU; 3:30 p.m. ET
    Both teams suffered big losses last week.
  • Florida (7) at Tennessee – CBS; 3:30 p.m. ET
    Florida has been struggling on offense. Tennessee has just been struggling.
  • Nebraska (8) at Washington – ABC/ESPN2 & GP; 3:30 p.m. ET
    The overall series is tied at 3 games each with one tie.
  • Clemson at Auburn (15) – ESPN/ESPN 3D; 7:00 p.m. ET
    The last two meetings between these two schools were in bowl games.
  • Mississippi State at LSU (12) – ESPNU; 7:00 p.m. ET
    LSU has won 10 in a row over the Bulldogs.
  • Notre Dame at Michigan State – ABC/ESPN2; 8:00 p.m. ET
    The Irish won last year in South Bend 33-30.
  • Texas (4) at Texas Tech – ABC/ESPN2; 8:00 p.m. ET
    The Longhorns and Red Raiders have split the last two games in this series.
  • Iowa at Arizona – ESPN; 10:30 p.m. ET
    The series between these two schools is tied 6-6.
