FOOTBALL SCHEDULES
College Football Schedule (FBS)
College Football TV Schedule (FBS & FCS)

Starting next year, UM-OSU should alternate timeslots and networks, which is a better compromise than allowing the Baltimore Ravens to form using most existing Cleveland Browns personnel while the Browns were forced to reload with an expansion draft, something they have not recovered from to this day.
And playing UM-OSU at night is a better idea than the NBA play-in games, which cost another Cleveland team dearly in 2022.
Anyway Z-Man Michigan Wolverines wants only two night games at big house during CFB regular season & bottom line why Michigan-Ohio State never want to play at night is there will be increase drinking & frostbites from spectators.
Furthermore Z-Man At least you have three choices to watch Big Ten games under the lights.
Credit Big Ten on having Michigan-Ohio State as standalone Noon game & with choices at 3:30PM & 7:30PM on last Saturday 2025 regular season.
Fantastic job Big Ten!!!
Dan, your afraid of frostbite? You do know the Packers play in much colder weather than anything we see in the upper Midwest at thanksgiving! Where do you get these pansy ideas from? I mean Michigan is one of your favorite teams but you pretty much make it sound like the fans of Michigan are wimps and can’t be outside in the cold.
Illininoles97 I really enjoy watching Big Ten Football however I do not care about cold weather plus Big Ten are not fans of playing cold weather night games in November.
LOL Stanford vs ND is at 7:30 PM PT
Here is a proposal I have, this weekend November 22nd, should be the last day of college football for the regular season. I know people like watching the games over Thanksgiving weekend, but this is what I would do, have the conference championship games on both Friday and Saturday that way, they can be more stand alone times, also this also gives the players more rest before their first playoff game, especially since they are still students, and have to finish up on their work for the semester and get finals out of the way. Also for teams that didn’t make to a conference championship game, it gives them time to go home, spend time with their families for Thanksgiving. Also this way, a lot of people travel that weekend, so if they are going to a relatives house or something like that, it would be easier, than worrying about your rival game being played. Just my thoughts.
Before the regular season expanded to 12 games, many rivalry games were played the week before Thanksgiving. Cal/Stanford still is, all of the FCS games still are. Until about 15 years ago, the Big Ten rarely played after Thanksgiving.
And I don’t think it will be long until Cal-Stanford gets played in Santa Clara on an annual basis either.
Z Man, I guarantee you that humans will land on Venus before that ever happens.
There is no advantage to putting Cal/Stanford at a neutral site.
The 49ers stadium is larger and has better amenities than either on-campus venue.

Why can’t we be friends
Why can’t we be friends
Why can’t we be friends
Why can’t we be friends
Just having fun from a classic song from 50 years ago.
Jtk1, I like your proposal. I think the regular season should always start the last weekend of August regardless of if it’s Labor Day weekend or not. The regular season ends the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Personally, I don’t like Conference Championship Games, but if you want to have them, they’ll be the Friday/Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Round 1 of the playoffs is the first weekend of December (campus sites)
Round 2 is the second (campus sites)
Round 3 is the third (semifinals played either at Orange Bowl or Sugar Bowl)
The Title game is either January 1 or the first Saturday of January, and always played at the Rose Bowl.
I am confident that UM-OSU would still be the most-watched regular season game each year even if it isn’t always played at noon. Besides, other traditions have fallen by the wayside in recent years. We’ve seen it in longtime rivalries ending due to realignment. We’ve seen it in the major bowls giving up conference tie-ins to host a quarterfinal or semifinal in the CFP every year. UM-OSU always being at noon could be the next thing to go.
Having Michigan-Ohio State playing on Saturday Night would put Big Ten west coast teams in jeopardy & Friday is a zero option either.
Michigan-Ohio State will have healthy excellent TV ratings being standalone Big Ten noon game in its traditional kickoff & hope it stays that way.
When you become the Athletic Director at Ohio State, or Big Ten commissioner, or President at FOX Sports, then you can implement your desired changes.
Dan do a little research, the year was around 2009 and the Michigan Ohio St game wasn’t played at noon, it was #1vs #2 and it was a later afternoon start. Nobody got violent, no reports of frostbite and everything was fine. You and your precious noon kickoffs…….who you crappin?
It was 2006 to be exact. I’m willing to bet ABC regrets not being more aggressive in trying to get the game onto Saturday Night Football, which never featured the rivalry in the last 11 years ABC had rights to UM-OSU.
Hope you do not mind me using My in following post.
I respect My Michigan Wolverines, I respect rival Ohio State, I respect FOX Sports & I am very enthusiastic about Michigan-Ohio State having standalone Big Ten game at noon time slot.
Sorry Z-Man Michigan-Ohio State wants Noon kickoff whether you’re for it or opposed to it.
